Pakistan govt to privatise 16 entities in current fiscal year

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan government has planned to privatise 16 national entities including Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) during the current fiscal year to generate approximately Rs198 billion.

The Board of Privatization Commission has also approved to hire financial advisors to sell three electric generation companies.

The officials said that capital market transaction of OGDCL will be completed by October this year.
