NANGARHAR: At least 400 militants attacked on the police check-post in Nangarhar province of Afghanistan on Tuesday, local media reported.
According to the Afghan official, the attack was carried out on the security forces in Hesark district.
Police spokesman Hazart Hussain Mashriqwal said, clashes between Taliban and forces continued.
Police official claimed, At least 40 Taliban militants were killed and injured while six police men lost thai lives during the clashes.
