Pakistani Boxer Waseem qualifies for quarter final of Glasgow 2014

GLASGOW: Pakistani boxer Mohammad Waseem on Sunday qualified for the quarter finals of 52 kilogram boxing category of commonwealth games played in Glasgow.

Waseem defeated the Malaysian boxer Jaya Raman Selvakumar easily with one knock down, reports.

According to Judges score, Muhammad Waseem got 29 from each judge against Jaya Raman’s 27 including the one Knock down.

Jaya Raman also waned one in the mach for committing a foul.
