ISLAMABAD: The third largest mandate holder political party, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), chief Imran Khan on Friday wrote letter to United Nations (UN) General Secretary Bon Ki Moon against continuous Israeli attacks on Palestinians.
Imran Khan became first politician and parliamentarian of Pakistan who officially wrote a letter to UN top official Bon Ki Moon for bringing the immediate solution of Israeli attacks on Gaza strips against Palestinians.
PTI chief said that UN is still keeping silence on Gaza issue despite numerous killings of Palestinian locals by Israeli armed forces in continuous air strikes and ground assaults.
Imran Khan dispatched the letter to UN general secretary on the grievance day officially observed by Pakistani government on Friday (today) in order to show solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza.

PTI is currently running a provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province of Pakistan and one of Khan-led party’s coalition partners Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) Ameer Siraj ul Haq also sent various letters to Muslim leaders around the globe seeking efforts for resolution of Gaza issue.
It is noteworthy to mention here that UN general secretary Bon Ki Moon had showed sympathies for Israel during a joint press conference with Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu keeping eyes away from the numerous killings of innocent citizens in intense attacks.
The move of UN general secretary was heavily criticised around the World.
