Pakistan breaks silence for Palestinians in Gaza

ISLAMABAD: Pakistani government on Thursday finally broken silence over serious international issue of Gaza conflict created between Palestinians and Israel since last seventeen days.

Pakistani premier Nawaz Sharif announced of $1 million in term of relief funds for Palestinians in Gaza facing continuous air and grounds attacks by Israeli forces.

Pakistan will also observe mourning day against hundreds of killed Palestinians in Gaza strip and lower national flag in order to show solidarity with Muslims in crisis-hit Gaza.

‘Innocent citizens of Palestine are being killed in Gaza by Israeli terrorism,’ said Pakistani premier Nawaz Sharif.

Immediate ceasefire from Israel has been demanded by the Pakistani government.

The announcement came on seventh day of the conflict during Nawaz Sharif’s ongoing visit to Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA) for Umrah prayers where he met various high-ups.

Death toll in Gaza has crossed 788 peoples including the recent Israeli strike on a United Nations (UN) school; killing several refugees taking shelter including women and children, according to unofficial sources.
