Karachi Airport Attack: Top CAA officials removed

KARACHI: Top officials of Civil Aviation Authority have been dismissed due to their alleged negligence which resulted in the June 8th Karachi airport attack.

High ranking CAA officials have been replaced with new ones after the largest attack on a civilian airport.

According to details, Karachi Airport Manager Azfar Malik has been replaced with Ali Jan Agha. In a temporary arrangement CAA’s fire officer Faiz Akhter is replaced with Mumtaz Ali Soomro.

While the General Manager of CAA’s fire department, Raza Rizvi was also asked to leave his post.
