ISLAMABAD: Government has formed a three-member committee, comprising of Planning Minister Ahsan Iqbal, Railway Minister Saad Rafique and Advisor to Prime Minister Irfan Siddiqui, to communicate and consult different political parties on current political situation in the country on Sunday.
The committee will consult all political and religious parties on crucial issues of Pakistan and current political scenario.
According to sources, the committee members have contacted Opposition Leader Khursheed Shah and Saad Rafique has consulted Awami National Party (ANP) member Haji Adeel.
Experts have claimed it a reactive move from government in response to ongoing protest by Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan against rigging in the elections, held on May 11, 2013.
