KARACHI: At least eight persons, including a school principal and a doctor were gunned down in the result of violent incidents in Karachi on Friday.
According to police, unidentified gunmen opened fire on the car of a school principal, Farhan Shah, leaving him dead on the spot near Nazimabad Gol Market. Dr Hassan Ali was killed in the result of the firing of unknown persons in Hussainabad area of the city. One person was killed in the result of the firing of unknown persons in Mansoor Nagar area of Orangi Town.
One dead body of an old man was recovered from Surjani town area of the city. Police cop Muhammad Parvez was killed in the result of the firing of unknown persons in Ranchor Line area of the city.
In another incident of firing that occurred in North Nazimabad, a man was shot dead. The victim was identified as Aadil.
A woman was killed in a firing incident near old truck stand in Mauripur area of the city.
One person was killed in the result of the firing of unknown persons in Layari area of the city. Two persons were killed in the result of the firing of unknown persons in Manghopir area of the city. The police have started further investigations into the killings. The dead bodies have been shifted in the hospital for autopsy.
Commander of the gang war Jalil alias Bullet was killed during the alleged police encounter in kalri area of the city. The killed accused was the local commander of Mullah Nisar group.
