PARIS: World number four, Swiss Star Roger Federer grabs another record to his names, as he become the first play to win 60 or more matches in major Grand Slam tournament.
The 32 year old player, accomplish the milestone achievement after beating Diego Sebastian Schwartzman on Wednesday in the qualifier of the tournament, improving his 20 matches winning streak.
After accomplishing the milestone, Swiss star said, “I think it was kind of tough all the way through for me,”
“I didn’t feel relaxed for the entire match… He managed to put pressure on me and keep the pressure on me.” He added.
Federer so far won 73 matches out of 84 at Australian open, while he manage to grab 67 wins in Wimbledon and at the US open.
