KARACHI: After unscheduled load-shedding in different areas of Karachi last night, K-Electric (KE) spokesperson has revealed that all grid stations have been restored.
According to KE spokersperson, EHT line tripped last night due to extra moisture in the air. And as a result, electricity supply from nine grid stations was affected. But now KE has fixed the issue and all the grid have been restored.
Recently the company was criticised for launching coal power plant projects that may harm the environment of the city.
However, KE clarified the rumours by publishing the Environment Impact Assesment (EIA) report that suggests KE is taking all the precautionary measures and everything is upto environmental safety standards.
K-Electric was formerly known as Karachi Electric Supply Company (KESC).
