ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) leader Shah Mahmood Qureshi said that his party led protest in Islamabad’s D-Chowk is a public referendum against last year’s rigged elections.
Addressing the anti-rigging rally, Qureshi said that his party waited for one year to receive justice regarding last year’s election fraud.
“Time for speeches has passed. It is time to take practical steps,” he said.
“When we announced our protest plan, government started giving advertisement with tax payers’ money about its performance,” Qureshi maintained.
“We have given a formula to end power outages. Invite Imran Khan to your constituency for rally, there will be no load shedding in your constituency.”
The senior PTI leader stressed that practical efforts were need to reform the electoral system, otherwise, election fraud would continue.
