ISLAMABAD: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan accused government of creating hurdles in the way of party workers wanting to participate in May 11 protest against rigging while warning that such cheap tactics can derail democracy.
An angry Imran Khan said at a press conference that the party in government (PML-N) is habitual of bringing paid people in their rallies and do not know the power of passion.
Speaking at a press conference, he warned government that if they are to stop workers than the democracy can derail.
The PTI chief who is to protest in Islamabad’s D-Chowk, asked government that if they have won the elections fairly, who and what they are afraid of?
He said that PML-N lacks moral courage while asking the government to tell if his demands are wrong.
Imran Khan urged all media men to inquire transporters about the harassment and barring techniques used by government.
About Mian Nawaz Sharif’s offer for tea, he said that if the PM wanted to meet him, he should have called him or met him personally.
PTI chief took a jab at PML-N by saying that the party always won the election match with the help of umpires.
