Lahore: A petition has been filed in the Lahore High Court (LHC) on Friday to take action against Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan to create ruckus in the courts premises.
In the petition, the applicant demands the court to register contempt of court case against the PTI chief.
The applicant said that the workers of the PTI enter the court’s room along with Imran Khan as the PTI workers also started chanting slogans and hooting outside court’s room.
It is to be mentioned here that the PTI chief on May 7 presented before the Chief Justice (CJ) of LHC Umar Atta Bindyal with the number of leaders and workers.
The CJ left the court when the PTI workers tried to enter the court’s room forcefully.
The CJ directed the staff of LHC to look into the matter and expressed his annoyance as such behaviour in the court is against the decorum.
The CJ also said that this attitude of PTI’s worker is completely unacceptable.
