ISLAMABAD: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) parliamentarians walked out from National Assembly (NA) session on Wednesday over delay in formation of a probe committee for activists killings.
The National Assembly session started in the chair of Speaker Ayaz Saddiq, while delivering the speech MQM member of the house Iqbal Muhammad Ali said their party activists have been killed and they protested over the issue but they were not getting justice.
The MQM members later left the house as protest over not making a committee to investigate killing of their activists.
While, Federal Ministers Riyaz Pirzada persuaded the MQM members and they joined session again. The Minister informed that the Speaker Ayaz Saddiq has informed the reservation of the MQM to Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar through a letter.
It is pertinent to mention here that the MQM had also staged walk out from the lower house yesterday as well.
