KARACHI: Employees of Pakistan Steel Mill (PSM) have not received salary for four months due to financial crisis in the institution.
As per details, the monthly expense of salaries in the PSM is around Rs 48 crore.
The employees of the PSM last time got the salary of December and January in the month of April.
On April 26, National Economic Coordination Committee has approved a package for Rs 18 billion for the PSM to resolve the issue of salaries in the company.
Earlier, the government had planned to enhance steel output level to 77 percent by June 2015.
