Lahore: Pakistan former fast-bowler Waqar Younis has been appointed as head coach of national team for two years contract by Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) on Tuesday.
It will be the first assignment of Waqar Younis when Pakistan team will visit of Sri Lanka from July to August.
Waqar has coached Pakistan in 2010 and 2011 before resigning on health and personal grounds.
“I am very happy from the PCB decision post but I want to make the winning team for World Cup 2015,” Younis said.
