Lahore: A famous lion of the Lahore Zoo ‘Jumbo’ has been died to due prolonged illness here on Tuesday.
According to Zoo administration, the Jumbo was born on 1998 and has crossed an average age of the lion.
The administration said that due to illness Jumbo has left to eat anything and he has been feeding through artificial pattern for one week.
The administration informed that all the needed measures had been taken to save Jumbo’s life but he succumbed to his illness.
The administration further said that the body has been sent for autopsy and if doctors will give permission to use Jumbo’s fur so it will be saved in the Zoo’s museum
