Lahore: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) chairman Najam Sethi has confirmed former fast-bowler Waqar Younis as head coach with two years contract for national team.
In an interview, Sethi confirmed Younis after giving the two years contract for Pakistan cricket team.
“There was a bad experience to appoint Moin Khan as head coach by former chairman Zaka Ashraf committee and many persons were not happy on that decision,” Sethi said.
“Now Moin Khan has become a chief selector and we would get the better result with experience of both former cricketers,” Sethi added.
“Thus, Khan and Younis will work together till two years for national team,” He said.
