Islamabad: Federal Minister Water and Power Khawaja Asif on Friday has said that he cannot give false hopes to the Nation as people have to face more load shedding for at least three month.
Talking to media, the Minister said that due to changing weather government has facing shortfall of around 3200 MegaWatts (MW) while will be further increased in upcoming months.
He said that due to shortage of water, dams also could not produce electricity more than 3600MW which will create problems for the people of Pakistan.
Asif said that he was trying to recover the payments from all defaulters including government institution and he assured that all the payment of the government institution will be paid during this month.
He said that only defaulters doing protest against the severe load shedding, adding that the electricity would not be provided who will not pay the bills.
Electricity theft is the real problem of Pakistan and I know that without involving of WAPDA and employees the electricity cannot be theft, Asif added.
Khawaja Asif apologized the nation in advance for this inconvenience and he appealed the domestic consumers to save the electricity.
