KARACHI: Mutahhida Qaumi Movement (MQM)’s co-ordination committee on Thursayd announced peaceful protests in the whole province of Sindh tomorrow to mourn the killing of four of its workers.
Speaking at an emergency press conference after four brutally tortured dead bodies workers found from Memon Goth yesterday were identified as those of MQM workers, MQM leader Khalid Maqbool Siddiqui said that whole Karachi is mourning this pathetic incident.
He announced that whole Sindh will protest on Friday against the injustice being meted out in so-called Karachi operation.
MQM MNA Farooq Sattar said that the extra judicial killing of MQM workers is unacceptable.
Mr. Siddiqui informed press that he slain MQM workers were identified as Faizan, Ali Haider, Sameed and Salman Mushtaq while MQM has two missing workers and even fear about thier lives.
Siddiqui revealed the names of missing workers as Zohaib a Zia-ur-Rehman.
Meanwhile, people in Karachi began to shut down their shops and business places as soon as the news broke out.
Private Schools Association announced to close all schools on Friday while Intermediate board cancelled tomorrow’s paper adding that a new date will be announced later.
