KARACHI: Target killing continued to take innocent lives in the city as nine people including a policeman and Naval official were killed in separate incidents of firing and violence.
According to details, some unknown persons gunned down constable Zahir Shah in Korangi Zaman Town while Arshad was shot dead in Orangi Town and the target killers also took another life near Korangi Town. In another incident, a man was killed in firing by unidentified persons.
Meanwhile, four dead bodies with bound hands and feet were found in Memon Goth. According to police, shells of 9mm pistol bullets were found near the dead bodies while the victims could not be identified.
A man was gunned down in Khyaban-e-Rahat, Defence area. He was later identified as Navy official. Police are investigating the motive behind the incident.
The targeted operations are going on by law enforcers at one hand while terrorists are also roaming freely on the other hand to eliminate their targets.
On the other hand, funeral prayer of Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) worker Shahrukh, was offered in Nazimabad Gol Market.
Members of MQM’s coordination committee, sympathizers of the party and residents of the area attended the funeral. Shahrukh was killed in firing by some unidentified persons on Tuesday.
