PESHAWAR: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) chief Imran Khan said on Wednesday that democracy in Pakistan is not threatened by any one but those who rigged the polls in 11 May 2013 elections.
PTI chief lamented that he and his party has been raising voice against rigging in previous elections but even courts did not provide us with justice and now we have no other option but to protest on streets.
Speaking at the ‘Tameer School’ project, Khan dispelled the impression that his party was on the lookout for mid-term elections in the country. “We have made no such demand. Nothing can destabilize democracy now,” he commented.
Imran said that 14000 schools in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) have no rooms while 9000 have no boundary wall.
PTI chief promised that his party led government in KPK will allocate maximum amount for education in next budget.
