KARACHI: A latest report of Human Rights Commission of Pakistan (HRCP) has said that the Human rights situation in the Pakistan has not been satisfactory.
The Pakistan has been seemed to be dangerous for the journalist because around 12 journalists lost their lives in 2013 during carrying out their duties.
The human rights commission yearly report said that killers of the journalist could not be convicted which is unfortunate.
In the year 2013, as many as 45 suicide attacks occurred in the country which killed 694 persons, whereas 31 drone attacks carried out in Pakistan and 199 people killed in the attacks.
In Karachi, 3218 people lost their lives in various violent incidents during 2013.
The HRCP report said around 20000 cases are pending in the Supreme Court of Pakistan (SC) and people have been waiting to seek justice and truth.
The Hazara community have been targeted on sectarian and ethnic grounds and more than 200 community members lost their lives during the year.
