KARACHI: In a surprising move, Sindh’s oppostion party Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) has formally decided to join Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) led Sindh government.
MQM, which was protesting against the provincial government and its law and order policy, has formally decided to join Sindh government and will get 4 government ministries and two advisory posts.
According to sources, MQM MNAs Khwaja Izhar-ul-Hasan, Rauf Siddiqui, Syed Sardar Ahmed and Adil Siddiqui will get ministries.
While two other MQM members will get advisory posts.
Sindh province’s second largest party, MQM for last six months has been protesting against PPP led government and provincial police for being unjust with its workers and according to its own members has rejected PPP’s offer to join government.
