VEHARI: As many as six labourers have been drowned in the well in the Jam Jella area of Punajb’s Vehari district due to a toxic gas in the well, whereas rescuers uplifted two of the labourers safely.
According to details the two laborers had leaped into the well for cleaning, as water pressure increased in the well they called other labourers to help and six more leaped into the well.
Due to toxic gas into well took lives of six labourers. Out of two of remaining three have lifted safely by rescuers.
When injured reached to the Jam Jella rural hospital doctor on duty refused to provide treatment. Doctor’s refusal enraged the villagers and they pelted stone on doctor house and set on fire the stuff in the house.
As administration ensured legal action against the doctor the mob dispersed.
