KARACHI: Senior journalist and Geo News Anchor Hamid Mir wrote a letter to Pakistan Army, friends, family members and Jang/geo group after receiving death threats and nominated Inter Services Intelligence (ISI) chief General Zaheer-ul-Islam among others as responsible for his death.
According to his brother Amir Meer , Hamid Mir feared ISI more than terrorists.
“We are sons of Professor Waris Meer and fear none, ISI and Army cannot stop us from writing and speaking truth ” cried Amir Meer.
Amir revealed that his famous brother not only wrote a letter but also recorded a video message regarding death threats and told Amir that ISI wants to kill him.
Amir said that his brother had threats from ISI since the time General Shuja Pasha was heading the agency.
“I told him to emigrate to Dubai” an angry Amir told Geo News.
 Pakistan’s senior journalist and anchorperson Hamid Mir survived a murder attack in Karachi.
Pakistan is considered one’s dangerous countries in the world for journalists.
