LAHORE: Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has denied permission to ace spinner Saeed Ajmal to play for English cricket county Worcestershire.
According to details, Ajmal signed a contract with the English county to play from its behalf in the current season but non-issuance of a no-objection-certificate (N.O.C) by the PCB has jeopardize Ajmal’s contract with the county.
English county season is already underway. A senior official of the county said that PCB did not issue NoC despite earlier assurances. But he expressed the hope that the ace spinner will be able to join third lag of the country season.
