DHAKA: Asian cricket powers of India and Sri Lanka all set to collide in final of International Cricket Council (ICC) T-20 World Cup this evening.
The match will be played in Sher-e-Bangla stadium in Mirpur. Both the teams have slow bowling combination.
It is expected that Srilankans will play with winning combination of semi final and Captain Dinesh Chandimal will not be in team again and team will be playing in captaincy of Lasith Malinga.
Sri Lankan board has announced one million dollar as a bonus for the playesrs if they win the title.
Captain Lasith Malinga stated that they don’t have greed for money but they feel pride to represent their country in the huge tournament and want to win the title for the country’s sake, he added.
Sri Lanka had defeated West Indies in the semis whereas India had been victorious against South Africa and reached final. Sri Lanka has edge over India as they have won Asia Cup and they had beaten Indian in a Group match of recently held Asia Cup.
On the other side, after winning World Cup and Champions trophy, Now India has chance to win ICC T20 World Cup and name victory for the title second time.
For the occasion Indian Captain Mahendra Sindh Dhoni has said that they have to try win the last match of the tournament for this they have to concentrate to play good cricket. This is a big competition and Sri Lankan team is the best team and they have young and experienced players in the side, he said.
Dhoni said Indian side have to play their best game to face the Sri Lankan team.
