DERA ISMAIL KHAN: Chief of Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUII-F) on Friday has demanded a fresh election in Sindh as the province demanded to dissolve Council of Islamic Ideology (CII).
According to reports, Maulana said that the resolution against CII was negation of Pakistan’s ideology, which is based on objective resolution.
And by demanding the end of CII, Sindh Assembly has raised questions about the authenticity of objective resolution, he said.
“The Sindh Assembly is no more representative body of the people of Sindh and has lost its constitutional and legal status after passing such a controversial resolution,” he added.
Maulana considered CII as the body protecting Islamic ideology in the country which has been supported by majority in Pakistan, adding that any decision against the CII is completely unacceptable for the JUI-F.
