Islamabad: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif on Tuesday has postponed a high level meeting to discuss security situation of the country including dialogue process with Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) and other issues.
According to reports, the PM is being busy in a meeting with his close aides including Defence Minister Khawaja Asif, Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan and Information Minister Pervez Rashid.
The reports said that Army Chief General Raheel Shareef, DG ISI Zaheer-ul-Islam and other high level official had to attend the high level meeting.
But the PM has informed the military leadership regarding the postponement of the meeting and will convene this later at any time.
The report said that it was still unclear why the PM has postponed this high level meeting which has to discuss the future strategy regarding the dialogue process with the TTP.
