LAHORE: The Pakistan’s Minister of Information and Broadcasting Senator Pervaiz Rashid said the federal government has evolved a plan to get Pakistan recognized as ambassador of peace in the world.
Talking to media in Lahore, he said the government believes in peace and co-existence which is evident from its past record.
The Minister said the economy has gained momentum and picked up strength in the last eight months. The currency strengthening and international monitory organizations are acknowledging the value of Pakistan economy.
Regarding peace dialogue with Taliban he said the government and Taliban committees are working for peace and progress achieved so far is being shared with the media.
To a question, Pervaiz Rashid said the government is disbursing funds among the drought affected people of Thar in a transparent manner. Around twenty thousand victims of famine have so far withdrawn money through ATMs.
