Islamabad: Economic Coordination Committee of the Cabinet (ECC) on Friday (today) has given an approval of Dasu Hydel Power Project and Harpo hydro power project.
It was decided in a meeting of the ECC under the chairmanship of Finance Minister Ishaq Dar in Islamabad.
According to details, the first will cost over 486 billion will be completed in five years.
The project which will produce 4320 megawatt (MW) which could be provided relief to the people of Pakistan from loadshedding.
The ECC meeting has also approved Harpo hydro power project which will produce 34.5 megawatt of electricity.
Total cost of the project is 9.5 billion rupees while Germany and France will provide a loan of 70 million Euro for Harpo project.
