ISLAMABAD: Justice Faisal Arab, head of a three-member in a high treason case against former military ruler general (retd) Pervez Musharraf has separated himself from the case as he has been leveled allegation for not being neutral.
During the today’s proceeding, lawyer of Musharraf team Anwar Mansoor argued that arrest warrant issued on March 14, 2014 showed that court was not neutral.
Court issued the warrant labeling that Musharraf did not willing to appear before the court, Anwar Mansoor said, actually his client was not able to be presented in the court due to security reasons, he added.
Anwar Mansoor further commented that the head of the bench Justice Faisal Arab seemed biased.
Replying to this, Faisal Arab said that if you believed that court was biased than as a Judge he separated himself from the bench.
