ISLAMABAD: The designated committees of the Government and the Taliban for peace talk with Taliban Shura has left for North Waziristan Agency (NWA), here on Wednesday.
The government committee comprises of Habibullah Khattak, Arbab Arif, Fawad Hassan Fawad and Rustam Shah Mohmand.
Federal Secretary Habibullah Khattak is leading the government committee, while Taliban committee led by Maulana Samiul Huqe.
According to reports, the members of government committee and the Taliban nominated committee chief Maulana Samiul Huque left here in a helicopter, while Maulana Yusuf Shah and other members of Taliban liaison committee left from Peshawar for North Waziristan.
This meeting was scheduled for yesterday but due to poor weather conditions, newly appointed Government committee was not able to fly to NWA.
But since today the climate is clear, members of Government committee decided to go meet Taliban Shura.
