Islamabad: The special court on Friday has given permission to lawyer of former military ruler Pervez Musharaf as he submitted a written apology in the court.
A three-member bench, headed by Justice Faisal Arab was hearing the case of high treason against Musharraf.
Supreme Court Bar Association President Kamran Murtuza submitted a written apology in the court of behalf of Rana Aijaz, lawyer of Pervez Musharraf.
Earlier of March 11, Aijaz had leveled allegation of Justice Faisal Arab and said he had received “life threat from Lyari gang” and presumed that Justice Arab was behind it. He had demanded registration of an FIR against the judge.
After this, the special court demanded an apology but Aijaz rejected the demand and the court announced a ban on entry of the Musharraf’s lawyer in the court.
