ISLAMABAD: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Imran Khan has said metro bus project was not a long term project and the PTI led government would run trains in Peshawar which would take five years time but would be resolved transport problems for 100 years.
In an interview to a private news channel, Imran Khan has termed Punjab government’s metro bus project merely a gimmick.
He further said that if the federal government try to introduce this project in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) where (his) party in rule, they will oppose the project.
Adding more about metro bus project, he said all over the world over head arrangements used for trains.
He said Sharif brothers had introduced metro bus service as a gimmick which were completed in one year but would not resolve problem for long time.
