Islamabad: Planning and DevelopmentĀ Minister Ahsan Iqbal on Tuesday said that Pakistan could face worst water and food shortage if new dams will not be constructed.
While addressing third annual South Asian conference, he said that Pakistan faces huge shortage of water which will ultimately create food shortage.
He stressed the government to build further dams in the country in shorter period if it wanted to save lives of the people.
He added that the incumbent government had planned agenda under economic vision 2025 and due to its better monetary policies Pakistan was moving forward.
