KARACHI: Inspector General Jail (IG) Sindh, Nusrat hussain Manghan on Monday has said that security has been beefed up around the central jail situated in Karachi.
The IG jail Sindh while talking to media said that after receiving intelligence agencies report regarding possible attack on the jail, Sindh police have taken strict measures to ensure security of the jail.
He said that as many as 150 secret cameras and jammers have been installed around the Jail.
He further said that more than 300 prisoners have been sent to other jail of Pakistan including 80 high profile prisoners.
Nusrat informed that the construction bomb proof wall underway around the jail to ensure safety of the jail.
