ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan’s Defence Minister, Khawaja Muhammad Asif, on Sunday has made quick response over Taliban claims of women, children presence inside the country’s prison cells.
Khawaja Muhammad Asif rejected the claims completely; said that there is no women and children under custody of Pakistan’s security forces.
Asif added that Taliban committee should share the evidences of women and children detainment if they have any list.
The defence minister clarified that the federal authorities would definitely investigation into matter on provision of firm proofs and evidence.
Khawaja Muhammad Asif’s statement came after the emergence of Taliban claims from their intermediator Professor Ibrahim, who said that Taliban demanded the exposure of government’s goodwill by releasing women and children under custody of Pakistani forces.
