ISLAMABAD: Inter Service Intelligence (ISI) official briefed the special court regarding the security threats to former military ruler Pervez Musharraf.
The court is hearing high treason case against Musharraf.
Sources said that the ISI official told the court that they had traced a routine telephone call regarding possible attack on Pervez Musharraf. He said that they passed on the information to the interior ministry. “It was a routine procedure to inform the ministry regarding possible attack,” the sources quoted the official as saying in the in-camera briefing.
“We got the information of possible attacks but it is yet unknown that when, where and what time it will be executed.”
He also mentioned the suicide attack on Pervez Musharraf in 2003 in his briefing.
