ISLAMABAD: Federal Ministry of Water and Power has signed a memorandum of understanding with United Arab Emirates energy Company Al-Aqili Group to take 3000 megawatt of electricity.
Federal Minister of Water and Power Khwaja Asif and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Al-aqili group of Dubai Muhammad Al-Aqili signed the MOU.
Al-aqili group will provide electricity via Iran and install supply line to national grid of Pakistan.
Speaking on the occasion Khawaja Asif said through the completion of the project bilateral relation between the two countries will strengthen further and the project of the government likely to end load shedding which will be great success.
