ISLAMABAD: The Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif hinted for imposition of travel ban on Pakistanis internationally in case of a failure in eradication of polio disease.
Prime Minister presided meeting of National Task Force for eradication of polio in the PM house today.
The PM instructed the saboteurs of polio campaign in n Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA) be tackled with the help of civil military coordination.
Meeting discussed the overall situation of polio in the country and considered measured to eradicate polio from the country.
The PM showed great concern over incidents of stoppage of polio-immunisation campaign due to the fear of attacks.
He said government have announced health emergency for the eradication of polio from the country due to the cases reported in Kyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) and FATA.
In the meeting, he instructed that polio vaccine must reach every child of the country and there should be no compromise in this regard.
