ISLAMABAD: The Pakistan’s Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar has met High Commissioner of the United Kingdom Philip Barton in Islamabad on Monday.
Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar said that Pakistan and the United Kingdom enjoy a special relationship and government will further strengthen the bilateral ties.
Talking about regional situation‚ Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan said the next few months are going to be crucial for developments in the region.
He said Pakistan is committed to remaining non-partisan in regional affairs and it wants all stakeholders to ensure peace and stability in Afghanistan.
The UK Envoy said his government understands the difficult challenges that Pakistan is currently faced with and assured full cooperation in countering terrorism and eradicating militancy.
He said UK is willing to enhance cooperation and support in all areas relating to Pakistan’s new Internal Security Policy.
