KARACHI: Chief Minister Sindh Qaim Ali Shah has claimed that all the deaths in Thar didn’t occur due to drought but several diseases also caused the deaths.
In a press conference with ministers in Chief Minister House Karachi, Qaim Ali Shah said all the deaths which occurred in Thar not only due to malnutrition but several diseases like pneumonia and others were caused the deaths.
However he admitted negligence has been made by administration and health department officers in all the matter. The Chief Minister also recognized that wheat distribution have been delayed in the affected area.
The Chief Minister swallowed answers of heated question during press conference. He also didn’t answer the queries regarding resignation of concerned ministers including him on deaths of innocent children in Thar.
However, he announced two lakhs rupees compensation and free wheat for the families of children who lost their lives.
