Islamabad: Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar has said that most of the Taliban are not the enemy of Pakistan.
Speaking at the National Assembly on the issue of national security the minister said that peace talk between Government and Taliban would resume next week.
He said that the government would form a new committee for hold talks with Taliban, adding that the new committee would also have a member from the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa.
He said that they were trying to start direct meetings with the banned outfit next week.
He also clarified few misconceptions about the Islamabad district court attack.
“Judge Rafaqat Hussain Awan was not the target of the attackers. The judge who was being targeted was not present.”
