Islamabad: Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has formed a four-member committee to appoint chairman higher education commission (HEC) as tenure of caretaker chairman has been ended on February 12.
According to reports, a seat of the highest position has been vacated on August 26 last year and the government could be failed to appoint a capable person for this seat.
The reports said that earlier three-member committee had been formed and some name were short listed but the government of that raised reservations on the persons.
And this is a test case for the government to appoint a capable personality for this precious seat which is not involved in any corrupt and immoral activities.
the four-member committee comprised on Federal Minister for Science and Technology Zahid Hamid, State Minister for Interior, Baleeg-ur-Rehman, Special Advisor to PM Tariq Fatimi and Principal secretary of PM Javed Aslam.
