Washington: Us carrier AT&T have roll out the maintenance update of Samsung Galaxy Note 3 but sill you have to wait for Android 4.4 KitKat.
It isn’t the Android 4.4 KitKat update everyone is waiting for, but AT&T started rolling out an OTA update that fixes a few bugs.
The baseband has moved to N900AUCUBNB4, but the fork is still based on Android 4.3 Jelly Bean. The update adds new versions of a few Google services like Newsstand, Search and YouTube.
AT&T has begun rollout of Android 4.4 KitKat to users on the Galaxy S4, so it is just a matter of time before it does the same for the Galaxy Note 3 as well. When the KitKat update does launch for AT&T’s Galaxy Note 3, it will be available only to users on the latest firmware, so do ensure that you’re on the latest firmware.
Samsung, meanwhile, has announced that rollout of KitKat for the global variant of the Galaxy Note 3 has begun, with users in Russia getting the new firmware first.
