ISLAMABAD: The politico-religious party Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam Fazl (JUI-F) chief Maulana Fazlur Rehman has said that the government did not fulfill its promises and that is why the ministers did not participate in the previous meeting of the federal cabinet.
In an interview with a private TV channel, Maulana Fazlur Rehman said that there has always been consensus on dialogues with the Taliban but no consensus reached on war.
He said that former president general (retd) Pervez Musharraf tried his best for consensus on war and operation. He said that the incumbent Interior Minister, Chaudhry Nisar used to talk against war by standing with him (Fazlur Rehman) but every one starts speaking a same dialogue when he comes in power.
He said that JUI-F is coalition partner of the government and therefore, he has to be careful while talking.
