PESHAWAR: A low-intensity bomb explosion occurred near ex-MPA Haji Javed’s home situated in Gulbahar area of Peshawar, the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa (KPK) province.
Fortunately, no casualties were reported in the incident but panic created in the connected areas as the explosion was heard in far sites, local media reported.
According to reports, unknown terrorists have planted explosive in a mosque at Javed Town of Gulbahar area.
Haji Afzal, the brother of Haji Javed, told the media that terrorists fitted explosive material between mosque and residential area.
The genre of the blast is still unknown; however, no casualties were reported till yet.
Heavy contingents of law enforcement agencies have cordoned off whole area while Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) has also been called on the location.
