Kiwi skipper Brendon McCullum got the ‘Man of the Match’ for his sensational 302 in the second innings which save the match.
McCullum: ‘Obviously feeling tired after the knock. It’s pleasing to win against a very good Indian side, something that doesn’t come easily.
Dhoni: ‘We need to appreciate how Brendon batted with Watling. The bowlers started well but were tired as the duo batted on. I think we hit the right areas. Even in the first Test, the second innings bowling was very good.’
